Jazz
Jazz is offered for any age group Tiny Tots, Kinder & Pre School has Jazz incorporated during class. Our Jazz lessons are a fun and energetic way to learn dance. The class includes a warm-up with stretching, isolations, and strengthening exercises, and then moves across the floor to work on turns, kicks, and jumps. Then moves on to learning a jazz routine.
Ballet
Tiny Tots, Kinder & Pre School have ballet incorporated during class.
Our Ballet lessons cover the foundations of classical ballet technique. It is a more formal setting that will give students the discipline to mature as dancers. The importance of strength, flexibility, rhythm, musicality, and memorisation will be stressed. We incorporate ballet into our younger classes as its disciplines and helps focus on posture and flexibility. We highly recommend ballet to all students as it links with other dance styles
Acrobatics
Our 'Acro for Dancers' class focuses on strength and flexibility, through acrobatic movements. These techniques are incorporated into a dance routine and can include Aerials, handstands, cartwheels, walkovers, and handsprings. While acrobatics or gymnastics are not forms of dance, they can become dance techniques if the dancer adds rhythm and music with true dance choreography. This is achieved when dancers move from an acrobatic technique smoothly onto a dance movement. Watch out for our Acro Dance at the concert, it's sure to impress!!.
Hip Hop
Our Hip Hop Classes involve the fundamentals of hip hop movement. They are upbeat and high-energy classes. Stretching, isolations, rhythms, musicality, upper body strength, and funky footwork will all be incorporated.
Contemporary dance is a style of expressive dance that combines elements of a few dance genres including jazz, lyrical and classical ballet. Contemporary dancers aim to connect the mind and the body through fluid dance movements.
